Kids Fabulous Find - KidKraft So Chic Dollhouse

We tend to give the kids a choice - big gift, no party, or small gifts with a party.  They usually opt for big gift, no party.  This year, the 5 year old said she wanted a doll house. We have three VERY active kids who like to use whatever they can get their feet on as step stools, so I figured spending over a hundred on a plastic doll house was out of the question.  I started looking at wood ones, and the prices were crazy - especially for the shipping!

On one very popular toy website, the shipping alone for the 80 lb package was $150.  Oh, they SAID free shipping, but it is only free for shipping fees under $75. Another popular discount store had free shipping if you shipped it to their store. Now, they sell these high quality doll houses several places from Wal-Mart to Saks Fifth Avenue with varying price tags. Review on various websites were all great, with high ratings.  I knew what I was going to get - I just had to figure out where I was going to get the best deal.

Turns out, the best deal that brought the dollhouse to my doorstep was from DollhousesGalore.com. $60 less than Saks (before shipping costs), $50 less than that very popular toy store chain (also before shipping costs) - with free shipping!

I am sure that it will be great once it is set up, considering the wonderful reviews on ALL the sites I checked.  Apparently it is a great fit for Barbie Dolls.
