Christmas and New Year's for Caribbean people often has too much of erryting! Too much rum, too much cake, too much sweets - just too much! There are a few tings that us Caribbean people can never get enough of... family and friends.  Unfortunately, we are losing our family and friends to diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, brought on by stress, obesity, and everyday excess.

Let's challenge ourselves, our friends, and our family to make small daily changes in our habits and activities that amount to lifestyle changes in the long run. There are two ways to participate...

Challenge Participant: Every day a new challenge will be posted on Socamom.com, our Twitter page, and our Facebook Fan page.  Share the challenges with your friends and family in your social networks (facebook, twitter, linkedIn), and share your progress with us by commenting on the posts and letting us know how you are doing.

Challenge Blogger: If you are having trouble coming up with fresh content to share with your blog readers, the challenge is a great way to keep your readers engaged every day.  You can write about your participation in the challenge, and how making the small daily changes presented on socamom.com are working for you.
